Jeff began his career in Tri-Cities, WA working in both radio and television. He has worked for KONA-AM, KNDU-TV, KGA-AM, KIRO-AM/FM and the CBS and ABC Radio Networks. He also owns his own radio company, the Northwest Broadcasting Network, and is a member of the Washington State Association of Broadcasters. When it comes to news, Jeff likes to cover anything science or tech-related and is a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
In addition to many years in news, Jeff also has an extensive career in sports. He has done play-by-play for the Tri-City Americans of the Western Hockey League as well as various high school and college sports throughout the northwest. He has also served as sideline reporter for the Tri-Cities Fever of the AF2 and covered the hydroplane races at the Waterfollies in Tri-Cities since 2005.
In addition to broadcasting, Jeff is an accomplished sports official. He works as a referee for football, basketball, and ice hockey and an umpire for fastpitch softball. He has worked several state and national championships as a sports official.
